Accidents can be stressful events. Oftentimes it is hard to think of all the questions you need to ask. Sometimes it causes you to ask many more questions. Here is a few of the answers to common questions we get relating to collisions and accident repair.

Should I notify my insurance company before my vehicle is repaired?
Yes, if you are making a claim through your insurance company it is required that you contact them and report your accident.

Will I need to get more than one estimate before my vehicle can be repaired?
No. While in the past it was required to get three estimates, there have been laws passed stating that if you have a preferred collision shop, there is no need to get estimates anywhere else. There are instances when insurance companies will send out adjusters to write the estimates, if this is the case, just bring in the estimate you are given and we will take care of the rest.

Do I have the right to select the shop that will repair my vehicle?
Yes. Notify your insurance company of the shop you have chosen and provide the shop with your claim number. The claims adjuster and body shop will work together to repair your vehicle as efficiently as possible.

Is there a warranty?
We guarantee our collision and body repairs for defects in workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle, rust and or abuse exempted.

Can someone take me home or to work when I drop off my car?
Of course! Just arrange the ride with one of our service writers; we’d be happy to take you to your destination in the Fort Wayne area.

Will my car be as good as it was before the accident?
We use state of the art equipment and expertly trained technicians to ensure the damaged areas of your vehicle are repaired to the same or better level of quality as when they were new. If you feel something has been overlooked, please bring it to our attention.

How long will my repairs take?
The length of time will vary with every job. Parts availability, repair and painting hours, and coordination with insurance companies are the main factors. When you get your estimate, our team will be able to five you a good idea of when the repairs will be completed.
